Rev. Glory Cato is a spiritual explorer with a life-long fascination for mysticism, natural healing, and human evolution. Raised in Christianity, she recognizes Truth in different religions and spiritual systems, and has variously practiced Buddhism, Hinduism, Native American spirituality, Mayan cosmology, and Metaphysics. Glory holds a special affinity for the teachings of Jesus and their power to elevate our hearts into higher consciousness.
Glory graduated with a B.A. Cum Laude and University Honors from the University of North Texas, with a major in English Composition and a minor in French. She later studied with Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute, where she graduated with a Masters of Divinity and was ordained as a Unity minister in 2023.
Glory worked as a technical writer in the telecommunications industry for 14 years, dabbled in theater and television, and then shifted gears to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. She practiced many different healing modalities, including Ashiatsu, Thai Yoga Massage, Acutonics™ Sound Healing, and Reiki. During her 18 years in the healing arts, she developed her own intuitive healing methods based on spiritual guidance, and conducted in-person and remote healing sessions for human and animal clients.
Glory was licensed by Drunvalo Melchizedek as an Awakening The Illuminated Heart™ (ATIH) Instructor, and she conducted ATIH workshops about the Merkabah and ascension technology in the U.S. and Mexico. She lived in Cozumel, Mexico, for two years, where she explored sacred sites and learned about Mayan spirituality. She has participated in numerous Native American and Mayan healing ceremonies, including sweat lodges, vision quests, drum circles, and temazcals, and conducts her own healing circles and Unity-inspired ceremonies. Glory received two initiations from Mayan Shaman Don Antonio Oxteik and a Shaktipat initiation (a ceremony to activate the Kundalini energy) from Sri Anandi Ma.
Glory’s interests include travel, dance (she studied Middle Eastern and Indian styles), vegan raw food, walking on beaches, natural healing, and anything paradigm-challenging. She considers herself fortunate to live on beautiful Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, with her husband, Pat.
